AustChat Email System Help

AustChat provides it's chatters upon request with a fully unlimited POP3/IMAP/Webmail accessable email account for their personal use. We provide this on the basis it is used for normal email type usage. We do check how these accounts are being used and any account found to be attracting large amounts of spam or being used for porn or illegal use will be removed immediately without notice.

AustChat only offers email accounts under its own austchat.net domain, however if you own your own domain and wish to have some email accounts hosted by our mail server for a small fee per year then contact the Admin Team via the contact page for more info.

If you have been given an AustChat Email Address and are not what settings you need to access it you will find them here.

Here is a summary of the mail server settings:

AustChat Email Server Settings 

POP3/IMAP (Incoming) Server:

mail.austchat.net

SMTP (Outgoing) Server:

mail.austchat.net

Username:

youremail@austchat.net

Password:

the password you requested or was given.

NOTE: You MUST use your ENTIRE email address as your username ie yournick@austchat.net do not just use the first part ie yournick.

Alternatively you can access your mailbox by using our Webmail System, just enter your email address and password and login as you would any other system and you can check/read/create email on our website.
