Our Complaints Depatment is available for chatters who wish to make a complaint about anything to do with their time on AustChat, wether it be a problem with another chatter, a member of staff, or even a problem with the network or services.
Email sent to the Complaints Department is handled in the strictest confidence by one member of staff appointed to the role and is dealt with by that staff member only unless the issue is needed to be escalated to the Network Administrators.
We will especially be interested in reports of abuse of the network including spamming, flooding, hacking of channels or servers or bots. Also chatters who are being harrassed, stalked or continually abused without provocation can report the issue and we'll be happy to look into it. Of course make sure you have logs of all conversations and problems as we cannot act without the onus of proof.

Remember, your email will be kept in strictest confidence, however this is NOT a forum for frivolent or childish complaints.
only serious issues will be dealt with. This is not for "I was banned/killed from the server, can you unban me" type complaints. If you were removed from the network, there was likely a good reason for it and these sorts of complaints will be ignored.
Nor will the AustChat administration get involved in disputes between chatters over individual channel rules, bans or kicks from a particular channel. Each channel founder is responsible for their own channels and rules and enforcing them and we will not get involved in such disputes.
